<Practical training for actual application in the field, including drawing up an investment agreement and business plan>

The ‘Capacity Building Professional Training’ is conducted in a practice workshop format, in which the participants file an actual business plan for IR and plan the business model through special lectures focusing on practical business-related tasks from experts in various fields, including business valuation and investment agreement, and one-on-one strategic consultation with former and current VCs.

In particular, to boost the participation of start-ups interested in investment attraction, the program will be conducted at Maru180 (June 30th, Fri.), SparkPlus (July 4th, Tue.), Start-up Alliance (July 7th, Fri.), and Seongsu IT Center (July 11th, Tue.).

○ At the 4th training session (July 11th), the possibility of investment attraction is diagnosed and coaching on the IR promotion scheme is conducted through one-on-one strategic consultation with former and current VCs.

○ Training on financing through crowdfunding (July 7th) will be conducted to provide practical support for start-ups and other enterprises at early stages.

<Supports domestic IR opportunities for 20 firms, and international IR opportunities (Singapore) for 10 firms>

Regarding ‘IR Consulting for Firms,’ former VCs and investment finance experts will visit the firms throughout two months beginning in August, to provide professional consultation on future business plans, customized investment attraction strategies, and IR data filing, through tailored management consulting.

First, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will provide 20 companies selected from the companies that applied until July 12th, through the first stage of the screening process, with actual investment attraction opportunities, and 10 companies will be selected from the participants in the domestic IR to be supported for participation in the international IR held overseas (Singapore).

Particularly in the area of domestic and international IR, the program plans to maximize the potential of investments by hosting one-on-one meetings between enterprises and interested investors, through prior contact with the investors.

○ ‘Consulting on Overseas Expansion’ is provided for the successful establishment of international IR, and customized IR pitching for Singaporean investors is also covered.

“We designed the 「Investment Attraction Capacity Enhancement Program」 based on the requests we were receiving from companies, to ensure that it would actually be helpful in the area of domestic and international investment attraction,” explained Daeho Kim, the Director of Investment Promotion for Seoul Metropolitan Government, adding “We are hoping that many SMEs, venture firms and start-ups with excellent technologies will participate.”
